I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Nephews ages 7 and 8. I thought it would be a fantastic gift for their 1st telescope and I was right. I am the very best Aunt ever!!! They absolutely love it. My brother and Sister-in-law loves it the most and have been star gazing every single night and said you are able to see the details of the moon.
They live in Florida, so I am sure they can appreciate the clear nightly sky. I personally would in all probability have not bought this telescope for me simply because I live in New York…you will be very lucky to see at least one star in the sky just by looking up. They also said it was quite quick to set up.
The top part is that they couldn’t believe how much I purchased it for, Thank you AMAZON! You’ll be able to beat the price for a 1st telescope. If you’re a professional stargazer…you in all probability will not appreciate this telescope.
